Cooking up a CURE cookbook volume IV is an incredible cookbook that was published after our First Annual Cooking up a CURE event with all the Great Chefs in Philadelphia. The event took place in May of 2004 at the Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College in Philadelphia. Chefs such as Georges Perrier of Le Bec-Fin were on site to autograph cookbooks, while attendees could sample foods from some of the best restaurants in Philadelphia. The event raised $12,000 for the University of Pennsylvania, Department of Neurosurgery. From that event, many Chefs from the Philadelphia area submitted recipes for this book. So, although many recipes are a bit more difficult to make (not really), this is a book worth having in your collection. There are over 300 recipes contributed by those affected by brain tumors and cancer as well as chefs and restaurants from Philadelphia and all over the world. Recipes include special dedications that make the books filled with page after page of mouthwatering recipes and so much love.Recipe categories consist of Appetizers and Beverages, Soups and Salads, Veggies and Sides, Main Dishes, Breads and Rolls, Desserts, Cookies and Candy and This and That. This book is approximately 9 inches wide by 12 inches long, a lovely hard back cookbook secured in a three ring format inside so recipe pages can easily be taken out or added into it.
